Known designer Dr. Raoul Schoumaker (Industrial Design, Interior Design, Lighting Design) has given a master class during presentation Istituto Europeo di Design (IED). On 12th of December, 2009 at 16.00 in the Golden Ring Hotel (Smolenskaya Street 5, Moscow, 3rd floor, a Sergiev Posad Hall), has taken place the Istituto Europeo di Design Presentation – one of the leading institutes of design in the world, offering programs in the newest areas of a fashion, design, visual arts and communications. On the Presentation IED representative Dr. Antonio Venece showed projects of students of various faculties IED, told about curriculums, faculties, conditions of entrance and education payment. Known automobile designer Michael Vernon Robinson participated in action, Brand and Design Director Bertone Cento R&D which has given a master class for participants of presentation. The Embassy of Spain in Moscow held the meeting with Russian education agencies. The representatives of Open World were invited to this meeting among the others. The experience from the previous meetings proves their importance in regulating the business relations between the well-known Russian education agencies and Spanish education institutions. The information on new visa regulations from 5 May 2005 was given during this meeting. From now one all students, no matter what kind of education it is and what the duration of the trip is, will get only national Spanish student visas. The visa applications will be considered in Spain and not in Moscow Consulate as before. The approximate time of this procedure is 1–1,5 months. The fee for all types of student visas is 54 euros, the Embassy accepts only ruble equivalent.

The representatives of the Russian companies running Work&Travel programs were invited to the Embassy of the USA to meet with Mr. Michael Hazel, Nonimmigrant Visa Unit Chief. The items discussed during the meeting: the procedure of J-1 visa application, applicant requirements, terms of application consideration, answers and questions.
